Litigation Support
John Jordan provides expert witness, litigation support and consulting services in accidents involving scaffolds and ladders, falls from heights, and construction equipment rental accepted practices. John has been qualified and accepted as a scaffold expert in numerous state and federal courts to testify on applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards. He has also testified to scaffold design, erection/dismantling best practices, accepted industry custom and practice for the scaffold/equipment rental industry and entity duties in construction contracts. John has served as a consultant to the US Department of Labor in relation to OSHA regulations regarding scaffold.
John has provided scaffold expert witness and consulting services throughout the U.S. for over 30 years. John’s extensive knowledge and unique “hands-on” experience in all aspects of the scaffold industry reinforces and compliments his substantial knowledge of OSHA and other regulations. He is well-versed in and has comprehensive knowledge of regulations promulgated by the OSHA and ANSI. He is knowledgeable about OSHA scaffold, ladder, fall protection and related construction regulations and industry safety standards and has taught safety courses in this regard. John also has substantial experience in the construction, refinery, and power generation industries.
John believes litigation support should aid the attorney in honestly evaluating the pros and cons of the case. He has provided penetrating questions for interrogatories and depositions of key witnesses and has even been asked to help prep witnesses.
As a former director for the SIA Insurance Program and Chairman of the Loss Control Committee, John worked closely with the SIA claim managers and was involved in evaluating numerous scaffold cases throughout the United States.
